ANNALENE BEECHEY trained at The Bull Alley Theatre Company in Dublin where she played Feste in Twelfth Night and Adele in Lorca's The House of Barnarda Alba.

Recent theatre credits include Pat Collins in Moon Landing (Derby Playhouse), Glinda Standby in Wicked (Apollo Victoria Theatre), Cinderella in Into the Woods (Derby Playhouse), Alice in Alice In Wonderland (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Molly Cassidy in the World Premiere of The Ha'penny Bridge (The Point, Dublin), Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast (National Tour) and previously at the Dominion Theatre London. She has played Anne Egerman in Stephen Sondheims' A Little Night Music and Dorothy in the RSC version of The Wizard of Oz (both at Leicester Haymarket), Johanna in the Celebrated Anniversary Concert of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd (Royal Festival Hall, London), Cosette in Les Misérables ( Palace Theatre, London), Belle in A Christmas Carol (Theatre Royal, Nottingham), the alternate Christine in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty's' Theatre, London), Sadie Sears/understudy Julie Jordan in Royal National Theatre's Carousel (Shaftesbury Theatre, London) and Ensemble/ understudy Cosette in Les Misérables (Dublin and Edinburgh).

Annalene has performed the role of Cosette in the concert version of Les Misérables at Hylands Park Chelmsford, Cardiff Castle and more recently at The New Odyssey Arena in Belfast. Television credits include The Bill, Euro '96 Closing Ceremony and Phantom of the Opera Movie directed by Joel Schumacher.

Original recordings include The Ha'penny Bridge, The Ratcatcher and Nosferatu. Also BBC Radio 2 Friday Night is Music Night Guest Soloist.
