Joanna graduated the Guildford School of Acting in 2004 and prior to this she trained at the BRIT School of Performing Arts.

After graduating she performed in Phantom of the Opera in the West End as Swing, and then went on to cover and play the role of Madam Giry. Other credits include Mabel in the Broadway version of Pirates of Penzance directed by Tim Flavin (Guildford Yvonne Arnaud), Madame Ernestine in Little Mary Sunshine, Fay Templeton in George M! (The Electric theatre in Guildford), and Atalanta in Jason and the Argonauts (Bellairs Playhouse).

Television includes: Howard Goodall’s 20th Century Greats.
